Although we want to do everything we can to preserve and enhance the beauty of trees, there are times when felling a tree is necessary. A tree may have become dangerous as it grows and may be harming the surrounding environment. It may have reached the end of its life or it may cause diseases.

Our teams can handle these jobs, which can sometimes be difficult, risky or complicated. We use appropriate means, such as craning or progressive dismantling of trees, while guaranteeing total safety.

A strict set of procedures for treating and possibly felling palms must be adopted and followed, and must be reported to the Direction Régionale de l’Alimentation, de l’Agriculture et de la Forêt – DRAAF (the French Regional Directorate for Food, Agriculture and Forests). The pruning and plant care department at Adonis Paysages is fully qualified and duly undergoes all the training and applies all the techniques required for these urgent and delicate jobs. We will take care of these jobs as well as the necessary paperwork.

Preventive and organic treatments using nematodes are carried out regularly every three weeks from March to October to combat the Red Palm Weevil and the Palm Moth. In particular, this allows us to monitor plants more closely and more regularly

whatever the variety or location. We also use traps to monitor and measure flight activity and egg-laying periods.

We work closely with plant health laboratories to provide the best possible treatment for trees and palms, and to ensure that our staff are well-trained and efficient. Adonis Paysage is now one of the landscaping companies authorised to carry out pest control treatments on pine trees.
