With over 30 years of experience—often exceeding what clients could even hope for—the company is able to deliver turnkey projects, take on the role of project manager, and of course, bring strong creative proposals. This garden is a magnificent demonstration of that know-how.
While today it resonates beautifully with the fully renovated bastide, the garden was initially in its original, somewhat neglected state and only partially used. Connecting it to the house and turning it into a multi-functional living space was a challenge the Adonis Paysages team embraced brilliantly. The natural slope of the land needed to be managed, leading to the creation of terraces (restanques).
To meet the client’s wishes, a vegetable garden was added to the lower part of the property, previously unused, along with a pétanque court—promising convivial games under the Provençal sun.
The pool deck was enlarged and now invites family gatherings and friendly get-togethers. On the practical side, the technical room now benefits from easier access.
The Provençal atmosphere the owner dreamed of has become a reality, thanks in particular to Mediterranean plants (olive trees, agapanthus, irises…) some of which release the iconic fragrances of Southern France.
A specialist in landscape design, garden creation and maintenance, as well as landscape masonry and technical works, Adonis Paysages had the opportunity here to demonstrate the full extent of its skills. As the true project manager of this site, the company also installed a rolling shutter for the pool and created a wrought-iron carport.
The work, which lasted six months, was thoroughly documented, with a detailed report sent to the property owner every week. Two years after the project’s completion, Adonis Paysages still maintains the garden.
Transforming constraints into strengths has allowed the outdoor spaces of this bastide to become a true jewel case that enhances the home beautifully.
